"Merry LIttle Christmas" Quilt Top

This morning I finished putting the borders on the quilt top.
After I took this picture I layered the quilt top with batting and backing. Now I have started hand basting it all together. Don't know if I will do the quilting after I've finished basting or put it away for a while.

Today I finished putting on the pieced border. Still have the outer border to do next.

2009 Christmas Wreath is Finished!!!

Today I finished the wreath! For the inside of the wreath I cut a piece of cardboard to add support as per the instructions in the kit. I also stuffed some batting underneath the front side of the wreath. The kit instructions did not say to add the batting but I thought it gave a nicer effect instead of being flat.

Wreath Progress-Almost Finished

I've finished the last 3 ornaments and attached them. Now to attach the bow and then put the rest of the wreath together.

Christmas Wreath Progress

Last night I finished putting together the bow for the felt Christmas wreath. The bow instructions were not very clear to me at first but once I completed embellishing all the pieces it went together nicely. After finishing the bow I started working on the the first of the ornaments. They are what I've been wanting to make and couldn't wait to make but I saved them for last since that is the order of the instructions.

Today I attached the center block and rick rack to the center of the quilt top.
Next I will piece the blocks for the border block after I get all the pieces cut.

Felt Christmas Wreath

I've finished all the berries and leaves and now working on the bow.

"Merry Little Christmas" Quit Progress

This week I pieced together the center block and cut out the center blue fabric that will be appliqued onto the center of the embroidery. The pieced block will then be placed over the appliqued section once I have it attached.
